Part was replaced same day and we looked into further service to improve AC performance. We later discovered that there was also a compressor issue. These issues have led to looking into a complete system replacement.

David was extremely proficient. He went above and beyond explaining my a/c. I signed up for semi-annual inspections.

They came highly recommended! Florida Air, Josh and Mark Jr. came out when we determined the unit is working great, all boxes checked off. But the return ductwork was not!! We agreed to replace the collapsed return duct. No wonder my house was humid inside, temperature would go up during the day!! They were fast & efficient, they came & once the return was out, not only was it collapsed, it had a huge hole in it and was taped up, came loose and no suction at all!! Thank God Florida Air was on the job! Josh, the uncle, Mark Jr and Mark are fantastic, professional, great communication and overall very nice guys!! This company is professional and responsive. We had to work some parts challenges through the 4th of July weekend with my home warranty company adding delays but each time the ball was in Florida Air's hands, they took action and my wife and I are grateful. From Jayna and others in the front office, to the techs David, Aiden and Jesse-they put on a clinic in customer service. A broken AC in summertime is pretty brutal. These guys busted their tails to get our AC fixed. As a result of my experience with this team of superstars, I will always request them and use them in the future.

Once again, Florida Air stepped up and helped out in an emergent situation. Our friend, who is a hospice patient, had been without air for several days; when I contacted his established a/c people but they could not respond until the next day after hours. I reached out to FL Air (my company) and they didn't even hesitate; Christina said they would get someone out asap. She called back and said the operations manager, Jesse, wanted to come out and put a portable unit in to help cool him down until the technician could get there. He was out & had him cooling down within the hour and spent time talking with him, a fellow veteran...so far above just quality service. The technician, David, arrived within the next hour and took care of what was needed to keep him comfortable even though the system is old. We had a technician named Josh come out pretty late (9 pm). Our home has two ac systems. They were both not working. He fixed both. Explained everything that he was doing. Explained possible causes and corrective actions. He was very professional. 10/10 recommend the service and if possible would ask for Josh by name. You could tell he knows what he was doing and was very confident in the actions he was taking. Our home cooled off immediately. Really saved our night.

Excellent Sevice very professional and they make sure it's done right! Our old AC bit the dust after 15 years. Josh was prompt in coming out and diagnosing the issue with suggestions on a fix or replacement. Ultimately we decided to go with a new system. Jesse was thorough with his explanations on the new systems and pros and cons. We ultimately landed on the American Standard Gold 18. They were able to bring out a portable AC to make things a little more barable and got the new AC up and running 2 days later. I highly recommend Florida Air Conditioning and heating and will be using them for all my HVAC needs.

Our A/C began to have issues on Jun 5 and completely died on Jun 8. Jesse from Florida Air arrived on time, listened to my concerns and provided very fair prices. They were not the lowest quote we received, but they offered a higher quality system for not much more. Installation took most of the day due to the weather but it was totally worth the wait. System installed is an American Standard Silver 14 with a natural gas furnace and it is quieter than the Carrier system it replaced. Thank you for a job well done.

I call this company to diagnose the problem with my AC, that was leaking water on the floor inside of my unit. Scheduling was fast and easy, no changes to appointment time. David was on time , he was professional and friendly. He told me that he will send pictures of problem to my email address and give me estimate for repairs.

Josh came out and tried to get problem resolved with no luck. I sent him on to next job as I was tired, Josh agreed to send out another tech rep on Friday we got it solved.

David thoroughly inspected the REME unit and found it to be disconnected (by previous HVAC service company). The guilty service company had tried to sell me a much more expensive air purification unit but I did not buy because the REME Halo is still under warranty. Was having issues a few days ago with my AC not keeping my house at a low temperature and went about two days trying to fix it myself. Finally gave Florida AC a call and they sent Josh out to fix it after hours (around 8pm) He’s a great guy and didn’t mind my dog sniffing and jumping on him when he first got there. After some troubleshooting, he was able to fix my problem for me and told me what the issue could be and explained it in a way I would understand.

Update 5/22/26 Another successful year! Today's service confirmed the excellent preventive maintenance that Florida Air does each year on our Gulf Breeze Home. All good!!Excellent company with excellent technicians, communication, response time, knowledge of their trade.I could not be more satisfied with the repair that was performed on my heat pump. Our new AC unit lost all of its coolant so we called the company that installed it. They sent out a technician who added freon and said that he couldn't find anything wrong with it .Changed us though. One month later all the freon is gone again so we called Florida Air out for a second opponion. They found the leak-it was faulty materials from the other AC companies installation. We called the company back that installed it and showed them the leak they couldn't find. They put more freon in it and we are still waiting for them to come fix the leak Our house is warm and humid the air is miserable. They installed new units inside and outside and new lines.

They were wonderful! My mother's AC went out, she is 90 years old and just came home from the hospital with Hospice. The AC is only 3 years old and the company that sold it to her has already had to repair it last summer. I called them and told them the situation. They said it would be later in the afternoon before they could come. Florida air had someone here in less than an hour. They were wonderful and so kind!!!

I had gotten quotes from 4 different companies and I could tell that Jesse was very knowledgeable, cared about what we needed, and would get us taken care of. We had bought our home and it had many hvac issues with old systems. We had some odd ductwork issues, humidity problems, and hot and cold spots. We decided to go with this company. Under my warranty plan my company sent Florida Air Conditioning and Heating to fix my heater which would not come on.
